Quick Reference Settings

Please make sure that your PC's configuration has the following settings:

Double CLICK My Computer
Dial-Up Networking

If you have an icon called Xtreme, go to step B
CLICK 'My computer' Dial-up Networking
Double CLICK Make New Connection & TYPE Xtreme
CLICK Next TYPE (Only in Telephone Number field) 59644220
CLICK Next
CLICK Finish
STEP B
Right click on Xtreme Icon created in STEP A and:

Server types
- Below 'advanced options',
select only enable software compression

Below 'allowed network protocols'
select only TCP/IP

CLICK TCP/IP settings
CLICK First table
Select 'Server assigned IP address
Second table
'Select 'Specify name server address and type the following numbers:
Primary DNS 203.32.93.194
Secondary DNS 203.32.93.195
CLICK OK
CLICK OK
Double CLICK Xtreme
Type - Username
- Password
CLICK Connect

 

 

MAIL SETTINGS (Outlook Express Only)
Double CLICK OUTLOOK EXPRESS
CLICK Tools
Accounts
CLICK Mail from the tabs menu and click choose the Default account
CLICK Properties
Type

In General you have to provide the following failing to provide true information will result on bouncing the mail back to you:
Name : Your full name
Organization: This field can be left empty
E-mail address: username@xtreme.net.au
Reply address: username@xtreme.net.au

CLICK

Servers from the tab menu

Type

Name of Incoming mail (POP3) mail.xtreme.net.au
Name of Outgoing mail (SMTP) mail.xtreme.net.au

Account name: username only
Password: optional

CLICK OK
CLICK CLOSE
Now you are ready to Send & Receive e-mail's
